I attended this event hosted by BMW and I took a few shots there. There is a photo contest and I have submitted these photos. If you have time, do visit this link and vote.

If there is a place where I can just go there and feel that I am 5 years old once more, it must be Disneyland. I was not able to enjoy myself 100% there as I was down with high fever. I look at the photos and have a feeling of nostalgia.
All those who ask me to teach them photography, usually do so after seeing the night shots that I take.
So night shots are what they want to learn. Yesterday I went to the marina barrage to teach night photography. Of course, I had to do some photos myself.
Actually, I always emphasize, it is not really the price of the camera or how expensive the lens are that matters the most. For yesterday shoot, we used a Canon 500D, with a cheap kit lens on a $45 tripod, purchased from Mustafa.
There is a rather new side of Singapore, some call it a new look, some call it an improved look, I call it the money making machine side; The twisted metal walkway that leads to the Marina Bay Sands Casinos. I often read in the news how much revnue the casino is adding to the economy, and the sum just keeps going higher and higher. We are over 1bn dollars already.
Anyway, lets stay focus. It is a very nice spot for night photography. The helix bridge, as it is called is a "must try" spot for night photography lovers. From there, you are able to capture images of the entire city line, the millions of lights and colours that define the nighy skyline of Singapore
