Henderson Walk

One of the best sites to view the sun rising and of course, the sun setting is the canopy walk that starts from Alexandra. Well that is in the local context.

It links Kent Ridge hill and Mount Faber and there is a suspension bridge, right on Henderson road. On one side you can look at the City skyline and on the other side you are overlooking Sentosa, and enjoying beautiful sunsets.

At least it is good enough for me. And more importantly, it is a perfect spot for photography.

The Guillin Lake

I must have drove by this spot a 100 times. I must have been there a dozen times. Yet I have never photographed it. Well that was until yesterday. I wonder what it would be like at sunrise.

A Chinese New Year Story

For every lunar new year, massive crowds will gather around the chinese temple in Bugis. The area will be filled with very lively colours, people rushing through cars, and many others offering prayers to God.

I have taken a few photos. This is the 1st part of the story

My friend's friend, from Abu Dhabi

My friend visited Singapore, flew all the way from Abu Dhabi. On the day I met him, he was with 2 ladies. Pretty happening right? Anyway, I asked permission to take some photos of one of them.

Shooting in the afternoon

Someone told me never to shoot scenery in the afternoon, under the hot and harsh light of the sun. He also told me the only 2 times when I can shoot some nice landscape shots. But I never listen. I should, but I find it very hard to always listen to good advices. But I will, at least once I realise that he is absolutely right about that.

Blur Blur Blur

This is a very blur version of some confetti in the air. A tad too blur, isn't it? Well, it will be very difficult to get the same shot once more, so I will have to make do with this one.

Some Moments in Time

At times, de-saturated photos can have a bigger impact that coloured ones. This is, at least, how I feel.

I am not sure whether I am doing it correctly though. Well, it does not hurt to keep trying.
