Road Trip in Malaysia - Kuantan and Lake Chini

I am getting hooked onto road trips. I feel free and adventurous. And especially, there are many spots where one can make great photos. Most importantly, it is fun.

I advise that you travel light. I usually use a canon 500D with kit lens during my travel photography trips. There is hardly time to change lenses, and to carry along tripods. Most of the time, I only have few seconds to compose, focus and shoot.

I have also attached few photos of my last road trip.

Gua Musang Road Trip

Travel Photography. Many of us regard travel photography as cheap photography, when in fact, it requires more technical skills on the part of the photographer. The subject is always moving, and the time frame ususally available to the photographer to take the snapshot, is limited to a few seconds.

I went on a road trip to Malaysia. We drove for 4 days and stopped over at many parts of the island. I have attached some photos for you to enjoy the amazing sceneries.

Food for the Festive Season

The month of December, the festive month, is the month of gift, but also the month of good food. People enjoy turkey, roast beef, Virginia Ham, Roast Chicken, Porc knuckle and a lot more for Christmas. Not forgetting the traditional log cake.

Here are a few shots of what I had in my own plate during that festive season. The photos are taken with a point and shoot camera. But I thought the content was more important than the quality of the photos, hence, decided to upload the photos and share them with you.

Pereybere Beach in Mauritius

These are a few photos of one of the popular beaches in Mauritius. I took these a few years back. The snapshots were made with a non SLR, actually they were all from a point and shoot Kodak digital camera with 5MP.
