Balaclava

The northern part of Mauritius is well-known for its beaches. It is often said that the North is where the best beaches of the island are. Yet, one may find that there are many areas, although accessible to the general public, are easily forgotten. Not many people would venture there. For the very few who do, they will discover the natural beauty that these beaches offer. Magnificient views of the Port Louis mountain ranges. There are lush hotels there as well, for the very few who can afford the sky high price tags.

The beaches are meant for the general public. I took some photographs there as well. There are not many spots where one can swim due to the rocky surface of the water. However, one can be mesmerized by the tranquility of Balaclava beach, the amazing views of the Sunset, as well as the gentle marine breeze.
