The National Gallery

The National Gallery is located at Trafalgar Square in London and can be accessed by tube by alighting at Charing Cross tube station.

Access to the gallery is free, although you can find numerous donations boxes that encourage you to donate a few pounds so that the gallery can be kept free. Kindly donate generously if you ever visit there. The gallery also houses an immense collection of paintings, two thousand over probably, starting from the 13th century.

The collections are categorised into major halls, the works are very well documented and organised.

Outside the gallery, whenever the temperature goes above 10 degree celcius, you will see all the British starting to sun tan on the green patches of grass. Looking from the main gallery entrance, one can enjoys the majestic view of the Trafalgar esplanade, the fountains the statues and looking across to the other side, you will see... the entrance to the buckingham palace
