Westminster

Whenever the Queen of England wants to know the time, all she has to do is look out of the window of her majestic palace. This is all thanks to Big Ben. Actually I am not sure she can still see that far.

To get nearer to Ben, one has to stop at Westminster underground station and take a short walk. He is located at the north end of the palace of Westminster. Located along the banks of the river Thames, the Westminster is actually the house of lords, the Parliament.

It is where the two houses of Parliament meet. Actually it should be call West Minister. The building itself is huge. It has many towers, all have fancy names like Victoria tower and clock tower. It also has many many rooms, as you would imagine, all with fancy names as well, like Queen's room, Prince chamber, Lords chamber. However, there is a big no entry sign for members of the public.

Anyway enough crap, see photos below
